Reservation confirmations

To confirm a reservation we require a current credit card number and expiry date as a guarantee. Nothing will be charged to this unless cancellation fees arise.

Special conditions apply to group bookings.

Check-in / Check-out

We welcome your arrival from 1.00pm or earlier by prior arrangement, and check-out is by 10.00am on the day of departure or by prior arrangement.

We will endeavour to accommodate both early check-in and late check-out requests wherever possible.

Cancellations

The booking of accommodation is a contract between our two parties. The Ballina Motel agrees to provide the accommodation and services described and agreed. The guest undertakes to pay for the accommodation booked unless it has been cancelled by them in accordance with the following cancellation policy.

Cancellation of individual bookings must be notified no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to mid-day on the expected date of arrival.

All cancellations less than 72 hours (3 days) prior to mid-day on the expected date of arrival will be charged for the accommodation booked unless we are able to replace the booking.

Cancellation of Group bookings must be notified no later than 30 days prior to the expected date of arrival.

All cancellations less than 30 days prior to the expected date of arrival will be charged for the accommodation booked unless we are able to replace the booking.

If you fail to arrive for your booking, you will be charged the full cost of the accommodation booked.

Payment

All accommodation and any other charges must be paid in full on the day of departure (if not already done so). Overdue/recovery charges will apply if your account is not paid on time.

Damages

Any extra cleaning, repairs or replacements required to restore our suites or property to it’s normal condition will be charged to the guest responsible, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable.

Smoking

This motel has a no-smoking policy for all rooms. Smoking facilities are provided outside each suite. If you do smoke inside our suites, then you will be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.

Visitors

Guests’ visitors are welcome but we do not allow large, noisy gatherings or parties in our suites. Guests’ visitors must leave the premises quietly before 10.30pm.

Pets

With the exception of guide dogs, we do not allow pets in our suites.
