The last race meeting of the Spring racing carnival is regarded as one of the pivotal races of the spring racing calendar, as the racing action moves up another notch with the Livamol Classic Group 1 event - This race is on every owners bucket list, with only the very best taking the spoils.

ITM Cup 2015 - Hawkes Bay Magpies vs Waikato

The last Ranfurly Shield challenge for the season, and the last round robin match against a Mooloo side that last held the shield in 2013.

It will be a crisp Friday night, a packed McLean Park…14,000 fans, 90 % of them wearing black and white and 10% ringing those annoying cow bells.

A Magpies side who will be willing to do anything to hold onto the log of wood for the summer and a Waikato side who have continually grown with age and will look to make a statement and secure the esteemed prize.

Ride in a Truck Day is a bi-annual fundraiser that raises funds and awareness for Little Elms which provides accommodation to families who have family members being treated at Hawke's Bay Hospital.

The annual New Zealand Masters Squash Champs are back in sunny Hawke's Bay for the first time since 2012.

There will be some fantastic fast paced squash to watch from the athletic babes in the 35-39 age group to the wily old campaigners in the older age groups.

The titles will be hotly contended, with plenty of strong competition from Australians.

Targa Rally New Zealand

Targa New Zealand celebrates 21 years with 1,000kms of special stages around the Central North Island.

Starting in Auckland on Monday 26th October travelling through New Plymouth, Taupo, Palmerston North, Taihape, Havelock North and finishing in Palmerston North Saturday 31st October.

Five-time Targa New Zealand tarmac rally winner Tony Quinn and co-driver Naomi Tillett, and last year's event winners Glenn Inkster and Spencer Winn look set to resume their battle, but will 4 time Bathurst winner and motorsport legend Greg Murphy take overall honours? 

See the cars and meet the drivers in Havelock North on Friday 30th October with a Motorshow from 3:30pm - 6:30pm at Trechures Lane and Kids in Cars free, family, fun zone at Martin Place from 6pm until 8pm.
